On Monday, March 23, Building Bright Futures will begin accepting applications for Vermont Early Childhood Fund (VECF) Grants for the May 2026 – April 2027 funding period. VECF supports creative solutions that will improve the well-being of children from the prenatal period to age 8, their families, and the Vermont communities where they live.
Grants will provide $10,000–$25,000 in funding to projects focused on systems-level improvements that strengthen food security and transportation infrastructure in communities throughout Vermont.
This round of funding will distribute about $200,000 to support Vermont’s early childhood system. Grants are open to nonprofits, municipalities, and schools.
