Laura Young is passionate about supporting Vermont families, especially children who are marginalized or have experienced trauma. Laura has been an active member of the Families & Communities Committee and the Caledonia Southern Essex Regional Council, where she helps plan family events across the region. She brings insight from diverse work experiences including tutoring college-age students, working in residential care for teenage girls, working as an advocate for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, caretaking for individuals with disabilities, and cleaning houses. Laura lives in Caledonia County with her husband and two children.
