Teaching Strategies Gold (TSGold) is Vermont’s approved assessment tool for reporting progress on students in Universal Prekindergarten Education programs. Students are observed by trained teachers over the course of the fall and the spring across the domains of reading, math, and social and emotional development.
The chart below shows the percent of 4-year-olds meeting or exceeding expectations for reading, math and social emotional development in assessments in the spring of each school year. The downloadable dataset contains data for 3- and 4-year-olds and by school district.
