The focus of this committee is to monitor Goal 2 of Vermont’s Early Childhood Strategic Plan: “All Children Are Raised in Safe, Healthy, and Healing Environments.” The Goal 2 committee is composed of public and private partners who convene four times a year to:

1. Monitor how the state is doing toward the priorities outlined in Goal 2.
2. Identify barriers to progress, including policy or funding gaps.
3. Build connections across public and private partners to build a more integrated system.
