SUMMARY:Child Outcomes Accountability Team Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The charge of the Child Outcomes Accountability Team is to improve integration and coordination of early childhood public and private partners committed to the health and well-being of children and their families. The group will inform strategies and monitor progress toward Goal 1 of Vermont’s Early Childhood Action Plan: All children have a healthy start. \n\n\n\nGoal 1’s focus is to ensure that children are healthy\, thriving\, and developmentally on track from the prenatal period to age 8 by promoting and monitoring outcomes in the following domains: physical health\, development and educational outcomes\, mental health outcomes\, and basic needs outcomes. Goal 1 also promotes the importance of prevention and early identification across the same domains.

DESCRIPTION:Join Building Bright Futures and Vermont’s Early Childhood Data & Policy Center on Monday\, January 13\, 2025\, at 12 p.m. for a virtual briefing to mark the release of The State of Vermont’s Children: 2024 Year in Review. \n\n\n\nAt the start of each year\, The State of Vermont’s Children report provides Vermont’s policymakers\, educators\, caregivers\, health practitioners\, business leaders\, and community members with an objective\, data-driven assessment of the well-being of young children and families in Vermont and highlights the annual recommendations from Vermont’s Early Childhood State Advisory Council Network. As the title indicates\, this report provides a snapshot of the state of Vermont’s children and families.
