The committee helps ensure that data and evidence are used consistently to support better outcomes for children and families from the prenatal period through age 8. \n\n\n\nThe committee is responsible for setting priorities and tracking progress on data integration across Vermont’s early childhood system. It serves as an accountability body for monitoring progress toward all five goals of the Strategic Plan and as a primary advisor on research\, data\, and evaluation efforts. The committee brings together data stewards\, agency leaders\, and content and evaluation experts to discuss strategy\, challenges\, capacity\, and the systems needed to use high-quality data to inform policy and programs. \n\n\n\nThe committee’s current priorities include: \n\n\n\n\nServing as a primary advisory body for statewide early childhood data initiatives.\n\n\n\nAdvancing Vermont’s Early Childhood Data Development Agenda.\n\n\n\nMonitoring and guiding implementation of Vermont’s Early Childhood Strategic Plan.
