SUMMARY:Child Outcomes Accountability Team Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Child Outcomes Accountability Team (COAT) meets every other month to monitor progress towards the goals laid out in Vermont’s Early Childhood Strategic Plan. COAT works to improve integration and coordination of early childhood public and private partners committed to the health and well-being of children and their families. \n\n\n\nIn October\, we will invite guests from the Vermont Department of Health’s Coordinated Intake Referral (CIR) Systems Study. The study is taking an in-depth look at Vermont’s current systems of intake and referral to better understand agency roles and referral pathways\, as well as highlight the system’s strengths and opportunities for improved efficiency. This study will provide useful insight into how the system can be improved to support families access to services in the early childhood space. We are speaking with key partners and interest-holders who accept and/or make referrals in the early childhood system to learn more about how agencies currently collaborate to offer services.
