Vermont’s Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP) covers some or all child care costs for eligible families.
The chart below shows the number of children receiving CCFAP on September 30 for available years for all children as well for those under age 5.

Related Policy Change
Act 76 of 2023 (Vermont’s Child Care bill) increased eligibility for CCFAP in April and October 2024 to include families making up to 575% of the Federal Poverty Level. Act 76 also increased reimbursement rates for child care providers. More about Act 76 can be found here.
