CCP's goal is to further the availability of high quality child care options for parents and their families. CCP staff advise parents about choosing child care, best practices and state regulations, as well as offer referrals to child care providers who may best meet their families' needs.
CCP also serves as a recruiting, supporting and training resource for early childhood care & education professionals, both family child care home providers and child care center staff. The Economic Services Division:

Hartford Housing Authority
Provides information regarding low income housing; manages listings and matches for elderly, family, and disabled housing; manages Section 8 voucher program for Hartford. Call 802-295-5047 for more information.
Headrest
Provides the Upper Valley with a 24-hour crises Hotline/Teenline and information & referral. Provide an 8-bed emergency shelter for single adults. Also provides an out-patient substance abuse counseling, and an outreach teen program. Call 603-448-4872 for more inforamtion.
