Happy Days is nationally accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Happy Days provides a quality learning environment for approximately 160 children, from infants up to 12 year-olds.

The Bennington College Early Childhood Center (ECC) is a laboratory school that provides intellectually challenging educational programs for children ages two through Kindergarten. It is a nationally accredited program through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Bennington College ECC program is supported through the collaboration of parents, teachers, and the Bennington College community.

BCCCA has a staff that is able to assist families with Childcare Subsidy Applications.

Community College of Vermont - CCV

The Community College of Vermont is one of five Vermont State Colleges and has been accredited since 1975 by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The Bennington Campus provides on going professional courses in fields that support professional development for early care and educators. CCV does not have a central campus with housing facilities. Instead we serve students where they live and work, at 12 learning centers around the state and via the Internet. CCV in Bennington is located on Main Street. The phone number is 447-2361 CCV is an open-admissions college. Students may enroll for 1 course or to complete an AA degree.

The Northshire Day School (NDS) serves children ages six weeks to five years from communities in the northshire of Bennington County. The After-School Program cares for children from six to twelve years of age from 3-5:30pm each school day. NDS purpose is to build individuality and self respect, lay positive foundations for learning, encourage responsibility, respect of others, promote health, safety and to strengthen and support parents and families.

UCS is a nationally recognized community mental health organization serving all of Bennington County. It has a full range of services that include Head Start, Big Brothers;Big Sisters, Childrens Mental Health and a nationally accredited Infant Toddler Program.
