A regional planning committee was convened in 2007 to create a 5-year early childhood regional plan. Using the Results Based Accountability method, the committee submitted their strategic plan in July 08. Revisions are underway and a final plan is due to be submitted by mid-November, 2008.

Building Bright Futures Council of Orleans/Northern Essex
Anyone is welcome to attend and fully participate in Regional Council meetings. When the occasion arises that a vote must be taken, the 16 voting members, elected annually, are the official ballot-casters. When a voting member leaves or changes his/her employment position, that person is no longer considered a voting member unless re-elected under a different title.
